What a Fabulous traditional French dish that is completely unheard of in most of the world. Today I give this a savoury spin for a fine and easy lunch or dinner!

The Recipe!

1 French bagette
1 lb of ground turkey
1 yellow onion
1 sweet red pepper
3 cups of diced mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon of allspice
1/2 teaspoon of ground clove
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of turmeric
Butter
Extra Vigrin Olive Oil

La Methode !

Cut baguette into 3 equal parts, slice lengthwise. Butter and place in a large, hot pan facing down to toast. Placing a heavy object 9 like a pot or grill press on them helps to cook evenly. Put toast aside in a warm (200 degree) oven.

Brown turkey in a pan with butter and olive oil with above spices, put in a one safe bowl and place in warm oven.
Sauté mushrooms, onion and red pepper separately in butter and oil and season with salt and pepper. Place each one in the warm oven in an oven safe bowl as you cook each.

Now its time to put it together!!
Place ground turkey, mushrooms, onion and red pepper on each piece of toast and serve!
