Garden Herb Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Talk about presentation! This is about one of the easiest, most delicious ways to ramp up your recipes.
Find a bottle worthy of display and add the garden herbs you love the most. Commonly used are tarragon, rosemary, thyme, basil and oregano. Add a high quality extra virgin olive oil and voila! Let infuse for 3 weeks for more flavour before using it.
This delicious infusion is remarkable on the fresh lettuce and red onion from your garden or farmers market. Also amazing on summer tomatoes with finely chopped shallots on a bed of lettuce. Drizzle it on anything you want to add a fresh summer flavour to. How about topping feta cheese with it and adding sweet red and yellow pepper on Boston lettuce?
