As easy as it gets, as frugal as it comes and more important, as delicious as this is, marinating a well marbled chuck roast sliced into cubes on a skewer with vegetables of the season on the grill is just about my favorite meal to prepare and enjoy with my family and friends. Try the marinate I’ve concocted in the video, and use the veggies of your choice. That leaves quite a lot of options – leek, eggplant, sweet pepper, asparagus, summer squash and whatever your imagination brings forward!

Sweet And Savory Marinated Kebab
Fill container to hold marinate and meat 1/3 with cold water
Add; 2-3 cups of brown sugar (to taste)
1 1/2 cups of malt or red wine vinegar
1 cup of maple syrup
1/4 cup of toasted sesame oil
1 cup of soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons of meat tenderizer
Lots of fresh cracked pepper! ( appx 1 1/2 teaspons)
Fresh herbs of your choice ( I like rosemary, thyme and lemon balm)
2 tablespoons of pickling spice (McCormick)
1 1/2 teaspoons of onion poweder
Taste mixture and add to make sweeter or savory to your taste.
Cut pot roast into cubes and add to mixture. Marinate overnight.
